Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Should explore the functions of a Bee-Bot at whatever level they can access; could have an adult vocalise the actions the child is doing/did to reinforce concepts of cause and effect (e.g. you pressed forward two times and it moved to here).

Pupils working at greater depth

Should be encouraged to plan before testing with the Bee-Bot to increase the challenge (e.g. think about how many times it will have to move forward before it has to turn).
