Support and challenge

Adults can use the opportunity to discuss and/or support with: 

  • Building a model of the local area and discussing how it is different or similar to a place Bear visited.
  • Discussing the environments Bear visits and relating them to places the children might know.
  • Leading the conversation by pointing out specific details in the footage or pictures, such as “Look, there are lots of trees here, just like in our park.”
  • Encouraging the children to create a simple story about a character visiting their constructed environment.
