The Jewish, Christian and Muslim worldviews are sometimes referred to as the Abrahamic religions.
The Torah is the first five books of Moses and is the central scripture of the Jewish worldview.
Christian scripture is the Christian Bible.
The Qur’an is the Muslim scripture.
These texts are sometimes described as holy, special or sacred.
Many people read scripture to find out more about God and for guidance on how to live a life that they believe pleases God.
