Lesson 1: Introduction to Bollywood

Learning about the history and key features of Bollywood music and performing Bollywood dance moves.

Pupils needing extra support: Model the visual dance clues from the video (e.g. the ‘I’m so strong’ arm move) at the front of the class as these will remind children of each move.  

 

Pupils working at greater depth: Musical: encourage these children to use musical vocabulary when answering questions about the listening pieces. 

Dancing: have these children demonstrate or support other children who are struggling with the dance moves.
