Before starting this unit, you might want to check that children can recall:

  • Greetings: ¡Buenos días! - Good morning!, ¡Hola! - Hello! and ¡Buenos tardes! - Good afternoon!
  • How to ask the question ¿Qué tal? - How are you? and respond with bien - Fine, muy bien - very well, mal - bad, muy mal - very bad or fantástico - fantastic.
  • How to ask ¿Y tú? - And you? rather than repeating a question during a conversation.
