Lesson 5: Password protection

Learning how to manage passwords safely, knowing what to do if someone hacks an account or finds a password and understanding what makes a strong password.

Pupils needing extra support: Use the Activity: Access system – support version sheet with guidance and support from the adults in the class.

 

Pupils working at greater depth: The pupils can move away from the sweet dispenser to think of their own device. Get the children to think in more detail about the generation of the usernames and passwords, how they will store and manage these securely and how they will hand them out.
