Pupils should be taught to:
- Explore and evaluate a range of existing products
- Evaluate their ideas against design criteria
Pupils needing extra support: May need prompts to help them identify what areas of their To make, draw or write plans for something. should be adapted. Use the most appropriate version of the Activity: When you look at the good and bad points about something, then think about how you could improve it….. Pupils may need to use the word bank edition to support them at first and could then rewrite these into sentences.
Pupils working at greater depth: Should be pushed to consider ways in which their design could be altered to make it easier to make as well as to be more appealing to the A person or particular group of people at whom the product is aimed…..
