Pupils should be taught to:
- Play and perform in solo and ensemble contexts, using their voices and playing musical instruments with increasing accuracy, fluency, control and expression
- Use and understand staff and other musical notations
Pupils needing extra support: Could benefit from sitting with a more confident child and using untuned percussion instruments to perform their composition.
Pupils working at greater depth: Can be challenged to identify where the ‘Love story’ and ‘Danger!’ music return.
