Pupils should be taught to:
- Improvise and compose music for a range of purposes using the inter-related dimensions of music
Pupils needing extra support: Could benefit from a ‘conductor partner’ to build confidence and model this role.
Pupils working at greater depth: Can be challenged to make two or more sounds, which will be physically challenging. They could try to make pitched sounds (with a chime bar or their voice) alongside unpitched sounds (with their hands or feet etc.)
