Pupils should be taught to:
- Use and understand staff and other musical notations
Pupils needing extra support: If any children in the class know how to read music, pair them with children needing extra support.
Pupils working at greater depth: Children who are strong singers can be allocated as leaders of their group. If any children are able to read music, they could also add the note names to the notated score (A-G).
