Support and challenge

Adults can use the opportunity to discuss and/or support with:

  • Reminding the children of the new vocabulary introduced via the story.
  • Using the book to refer to the images so that the children have something to help them.
  • Prompting by asking the children if the image they are sorting looks like a vehicle from the story or if it is a vehicle we still see & use today.
