Could be provided with the Resource: Knowledge organiser: Science – Sound and vibration and directed to the third section, which explains pitch; could use the Resource: Making musical instruments (support) to help them create their instruments; could use the Presentation: Designing a table to help them draw their table.

Could add an extra column to their data table and record the different volumes of their musical instrument; could compare pitch and volume and draw sound waves for each to explain the differences.
