Lesson plan
Hand each pupil a sticky note. Ask them to write or draw an action they can take to help protect habitats. They should consider what they learned about conservation from Lesson 5: Human impacts on habitats. Their action could be simple (for example, not littering) or ambitious (for example, organising a tree planting event). If a pupil has multiple ideas, give them more sticky notes to write on.
Gather all the sticky notes and put them on a flipchart titled 'Habitat heroes'. Read all the ideas and encourage each pupil to choose at least one action from the chart to start practising.
