Before the lesson
Pupils needing extra support: Use the flying chair to help imagine with a real focus point. They may also need help writing key words in their design.
Pupils working at greater depth: Should give a detailed explanation of how their invention works, including referencing inputs and outputs, with some understanding of sequencing.
