Lesson plan
Play, 'Quick on the draw'.
Organise the children into two teams on either side of the classroom. The children in each team need to stand in a row.
Call out a subject pronoun (je, tu, il, elle, nous, vous, ils, elles) and a regular -er verb (for example manger, aimer, sauter, chanter, danser).
The first children in each team goes head to head to be the first to call out the correct phrase in French (for example, il mange).
The winner goes to the back of their team line for another go and the loser sits down.
Play continues until one team runs out of players.
