Lesson plan
Display the Presentation: Makinglinks and encourage the children to find links between the images.
The children could suggest:
Money is used to pay for items at the till in a shop.
Someone might request money for goods and services, as depicted in the person having a haircut.
The supermarket shelves can be linked with money because the price tags depict how much an item might cost and a supermarket is where you can buy things.
