Pupils should be taught to:
- Listen with attention to detail and recall sounds with increasing aural memory
- Use and understand staff and other musical notations
Pupils needing extra support: Should sit next to an adult or more musically able child in the circle.
Pupils working at greater depth: Can be challenged to relate existing musical knowledge to the rhythmic Symbols used to represent music played with instruments or sung by the human voice…. Can support others with the notation task.
