Pupils needing extra support: Give them a simple phrase on which to base their rhythm, for example, Good King Arthur.

Pupils working at greater depth: Encourage to relate this to their existing knowledge of stave notation. Ask these pupils how we show repeated sections in stave notation. (By using repeat marks.)
