Before starting this unit, you might want to check the children can recall:
- The verb tener - to have, in the first person, tengo - I have, and the second person, tienes - you have.
The vowel sounds b/v, j/g, c/z, y/ll, soft r, trilled r, k and ñ – these can be revised using the Pupil phoneme videos, as needed.
That nouns are either masculine or feminine.
- The indefinite article for a masculine noun is un and for a feminine noun is una.
That most adjectives are positioned after the noun they are describing in Spanish.
- The verb es - it/he/she is.
