Could source familiar language using the Resource: Knowledge organiser: French – Music celebrations to gather keywords or phrases for the Activity: Musician press release; should use the completed text on slide 3 from the Presentation: Meet the band as a model for their writing.
Children working at greater depth:
Should be encouraged to use a bilingual French-English dictionary to source new vocabulary for the Activity: Musician press release; should be encouraged to use conjunctions such as mais – but, et – and, or car c’est – because it is, to create extended sentences with opinions and justification.
