Pupils needing extra support: Put pupils in groups in which they will be supported and their ideas listened to. Provide a teaching assistant or other teacher support if possible.
Pupils working at greater depth: Challenge pupils to demonstrate some features of their writing from English, such as simile, metaphor, personification, etc.
