Pupils needing extra support
Could be supported in a small group by an adult asking them to record three important dates that they have studied in KS1 on a whiteboard. The children can then be supported to add a sticky note to the first piece of their toilet roll timeline.
Pupils working at greater depth
Challenge the children to research and add additional key information to the Prehistory part of the timeline. They could then explain the importance of the events to the rest of the group.
