Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Could reduce the amount of vocabulary that they need to recall, focusing on the names of the different shops; could use the shop cards and the Knowledge organiser to locate and check vocabulary; could have the word and picture cards facing upwards in the shop cards activity.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could be challenged to increase the amount of vocabulary that they recall, adding further shops and items to the triarama; in the shop cards activity could say what the shop sells (one point) using a complete sentence with dans + [shop] + il y a + [noun].
