Could draw the five stages of a plant’s life cycle in a circular sequence, as opposed to completing the Activity: Life cycle flap book; could have the five images pre-numbered when completing the Activity: Life cycle sequencing in the Attention grabber.
Pupils working at greater depth
Could mix all the pumpkin and dandelion images before putting them in the correct life cycle sequences for the Attention grabber; could add detail to their diagrams by including labels when completing the diagrams for the Activity: Life cycle flap book (e.g. seed coat, germination, rain, sun, roots and energy store).
