Should use the Activity: Weather chart: support, showing the days of the week in Spanish and English with a word bank for the children to cut and stick; could use the Presentation: Weather words displayed on the board to support when filling in the activity sheet; could use the Resource: Knowledge organiser: Spanish – Weather in Spain to support with the weather vocabulary and the question ¿Qué tiempo hace hoy? – What is the weather like today?; could perform the weather rap by reading the words from a prompt sheet.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could write each weather type into their Activity: Weather chart in addition to drawing it; could write the days of the week in Spanish into their Activity: Weather chart; could perform the weather rap by learning the words off by heart.
