  • Explain that you can have a career as a translator, for example in business, law, education, publishing, for the police, in hospitals and in TV and film. Discuss other careers where languages are key, such as a holiday representative, tour guide, languages teacher,  children’s book writer, blogger, speaker, seller, YouTuber or Podcaster, and jobs in the leisure industry like hotels and restaurants.
  • For the following lesson,  research how to travel to France on the internet. Find out how much it costs to go camping with a tent, rent a holiday house; what budget would you need for food?
