- To understand how information moves around a network
Pupils should be taught to:
- Understand computer networks, including the internet; how they can provide multiple services, such as the World Wide Web, and the opportunities they offer for communication and collaboration
- Design, write and debug programs that accomplish specific goals, including controlling or simulating physical systems; solve problems by decomposing them into smaller parts
For pupils needing extra support: Provide them with algorithm and blocks to match together.
Pupils working at greater depth: Should show what would happen if someone wanted to print something from the laptop to the photocopier, including what would happen if the printer ran out of paper.
