Lesson 2: Shape 2: Geometry
Taking a simple drinks can, children learn to first study an object to identify the simple geometric shapes it's made up of, before sketching out the details using light guidelines
Knowing that the points, lines, shapes and space that make up simple 2D and Solid shapes with three dimensions: height, length and width.... are known as ‘geometry'
Seeing basic geometrical shapes ( such as circles and squares) when I draw objects
Using these shapes to help me draw, design and decorate more accurately
Using Sketching lines and marks to help plan the scale and shape of the object you are drawing... to help set out and construct more complicated images from observation
