Differentiation and assessment
Pupils needing extra support: Provide family words for children to copy or cut out and stick on their picture.
Pupils working at greater depth: Could create their picture in an organised way such as a simple family tree or have the people who are closest to them nearer them. They could also identify ways people are related to each other, for example, grandparents are the parents of mum or dad.
