Craft and Design 2: Sock puppets

Pupils transform an unwanted, old sock into a cat 'monster' using googly eyes, card, pens and fabric

Pupils needing extra support: A template for the features can be used by children who are not confident to create their own creature.

 

Pupils working at greater depth: Encourage pupils to be creative in their use of the materials. Those that can stitch/sew could add patterns to the body of the sock character with coloured thread
