Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Could compare a constructed and already deconstructed bag side by side to help identify the shapes and how they join together; could have access to 2D shapes to draw around or shaped stencils when drawing the deconstructed bag on the Activity: Deconstructing a bag.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should examine bags made from non-rectangular shapes and create annotated sketches to show how drawing and joining the parts is more complex.
