Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing support

Should use the Resource: How to build a circuit (support) to follow a visual guidance when assembling their circuit; could use the Knowledge organiser to support their use of key vocabulary when describing components and their function.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should name and explain the function of each component in their circuit; should describe how the spinning movement of a motor can be adapted to create other types of output (for example, vibration, wobble); could experiment with repositioning the weight on the motor to see how the placement affects the movement.
