Lesson 5: Mechanical toy car kit: Making and evaluating
Building a mechanical toy car based on another group's design, assessing its functionality, providing feedback and making improvements according to that feedback.
Arrange the class into the same groups of three from Lesson 1: Prototype one: Inclined plane. Hand out a Knowledge organiser (one per group) and a highlighter (one each).
Ask the groups to read through and highlight the words they think are keywords (prototype, chassis, bearing, force). Explain that keywords are important words that they need to remember.
