Pupils needing support:

  • Could use the Knowledge organiser for vocabulary and information when designing their poster in the Main event.
  • Could rewatch the video PSHE in action: What happens at the dentist? when designing their poster in the Main event.

Pupils working at greater depth:

  • Should demonstrate the steps of flossing after watching the Pupil video: Brushing and flossing.
  • Should design their poster on paper, without using the template Activity: Dental hygiene poster during the Main event.
  • Should design their poster for a specific audience, e.g. younger children, parents or children who have never been to the dentist.
