1. Recap and recall
Before going to an outdoor area, display the Presentation: Gimme five! and ask the children to think of five skills they have learnt to do with a football. (Answers may include: pass, receive, dribble, change direction, toe taps, control the ball or stop the ball.) Alternatively, this activity could be carried out in the outdoor area during the Stretching section of the Warm-up.
Once they have thought of five, provide the class with a ball each and allow them to show a partner.
