Lesson plan
To remind the children of the animal vocabulary and the indirect and direct object, divide the class in half and explain that they will see a set of slides, each showing an animal. There are three points to win for each slide:
One point for the name of the animal.
- One point for the indirect object (un or une).
- One point for the direct object (le,la, l').
Display the Presentation: What am I? Run through each of the slides. There are five animals and after each animal, the following slide reveals the answer:
lion - un lion, le lion
elephant - un éléphant, l'éléphant
tortoise - une tortue, la tortue
giraffe - une girafe, la girafe
monkey - un singe, le singe
The team with the most points at the end of the game will win.
