Lesson plan
Explain to the children that they will be learning about puberty for the next few lessons.
Ask the children to recap and recall the rules for RSE & PSHE lessons that they agreed on at the beginning of the year in the Introductory lesson.
These rules may have included:
Respecting other people’s ideas.
There are no silly questions.
Keeping what is said in the room, in the room.
We are all different, and that is fine.
Emphasise the importance of following these rules over the next few lessons while learning about puberty. Allow any opportunities for adding more rules and take time to set the tone before beginning the lesson.
