When a word is selected, ask the children to discuss the definition of each with their partner. Take feedback to share the definition and then repeat. The words and their definitions are:
Puberty - The time when your body starts to change as you grow from a child into an adult.
Menstruation/period - The shedding of the uterus/womb lining each month, which causes bleeding.
Uterus/womb - The place in a female where a baby grows during pregnancy.
Risk - The chance that something bad might happen, like getting hurt or something going wrong.
First aid - Quick help given to someone who is hurt or unwell before medical help arrives.
T.H.I.N.K - An acronym used to help people think before sending online messages. The letters stand for: T - Is it true? H - Is it helpful? I - Is it inspiring? N - Is it necessary? K - Is it kind?
