  • Could pre-read the names of the features from the Activity: Church features hunt before the lesson.
  • Could refer to their copy of the Activity: Going to the mosque from the previous lesson to help make comparisons.

Pupils working at greater depth:

  • Should write sentences to describe how features of different churches are the same or different.
  • Should explain why there may be similarities or differences between mosque and church features (for example, both sacred texts sit on special stands to respect and protect them).
