Lesson plan
Arrange the class into groups of three and provide each group with a whiteboard, pen and the Resource: Knowledge organiser: Science - Light and shadows.
Explain the rules of the game to the group.
- Player one secretly chooses a sentence from the Knowledge organiser and writes it on the whiteboard, replacing the keywords with blanks. For example:
a ________ _______ is something that gives out ________;
missing words: light source, light.
Players two and three have one guess at the keywords that fill in the blanks and complete the sentence.
If they get them right, they each get a point, if they get them wrong player one gets a point.
Swap so player two has a turn, then player three and so on until the time is up.
The aim is to get as many points as possible.
