Lesson plan
Display the Presentation: In my bedroom. Click on the objects beforehand so that the words are visible. Ask the class to remind you of the preposition words they have learnt in French:
sur - on
sous - under
à côté du/de la - next to
devant - in front of
derrière - behind
dans - in
Organise the children to work in pairs or table groups, taking turns to make up a sentence to describe the position of something in the image shown using a preposition. For example: la lampe est sur le bureau - the lamp is on the desk.
Walk about the classroom to listen, help and assess and then invite children to give a sentence to the whole class.
