Richard is a Year 6 Teacher at St. Pancras Primary School. Richard’s passion for teaching was recognised when he received Suffolk’s ‘Raising The Bar’ award for Innovation 2016. With his class he made the world’s first guided VR:360 school tour and also a 3D-printed asthma inhaler that Tim Peake tweeted about whilst he was aboard the ISS which led to a meeting back on Earth. His love of robotics saw him coach a rookie robotics team to win the UK finals of RoboCup where they then went onto the world finals in Brazil.

Richard’s Key Stage 2 lesson on building a smart school finishes our topic on ‘Big Data’ encouraging pupils to consider the advantages and disadvantages of using technology.
