1. Recap and recall

Before starting this unit, you might want to check that the children can recall from previous Health and wellbeing units:

  • What is meant by a balanced diet.

  • What is meant by a growth mindset.

  • That exercise is good for the body and the mind.

  • That breathing exercises are a good technique for relaxation.

  • That to keep their teeth healthy, they should brush them twice a day and limit sugary foods and drinks.

These concepts will be built on further throughout this unit.
