1. Recap and recall

Before starting this unit, check the children can recall that:

  • In programming, a loop is a code that repeats something repeatedly.
  • A Micro:bit is a pocket-sized, codable computer.

  • An algorithm is a set of instructions to be followed by the computer.

  • Checking code for errors (bugs) is important.

  • A simulator can check the code works before installing it onto an electronic device.

  • CAD stands for computer-aided design.
