Developing an understanding of vegetation belts and exploring further the ‘tropical grasslands’ of the Amazon rainforest. Learning about the four layers of a rainforest; the vegetation and animals that occupy each; and the adaptations of vegetation in a tropical rainforest biome.

Creating repeated melodies or loops for the canopy and emergent layers of the rainforest, taking into consideration pitch and tempo.
