1. Recap and recall

Silently mouth one of the feelings phrases from Lesson 4: How are you? (see Teacher knowledge):

  • Bien - good (one thumb up).
  • Muy bien - very good (two thumbs up).
  • Mal - bad (one thumb down).
  • Muy mal - very bad (two thumbs down).
  • Fantástico - fantastic (two thumbs up above head).

Ask the children to show their understanding with their thumbs. Repeat a few times, then invite volunteers to come to the front of the class to mouth how they are feeling. Model a few times, then play the activity in pairs.
