Recalling numbers 1–12
Display slide 1 of the Presentation: Secret code, and ask the children to work in pairs to say the numbers 1 to 12, which they learnt in Spanish, Year 3, Numbers and ages.
After a few moments, reveal the numbers written in words, then practise chanting them as a class, counting forwards and then back.
