Lesson plan

1. Recap and recall

This exercise is a quick reminder of some of the colours and shapes that the children learned in Year 3, French adjectives of colour, size and shape. The children will use this knowledge again in the game they play in the Main event in this lesson.

Display the Presentation: Shapes and colours, which shows a series of shapes in the different colours that the children have learned. Hand out whiteboards and pens, one per pair.
