1. Recap and recall

Before starting this unit, you might want to check that children can recall that:

  • Red, yellow and blue are the primary colours.

  • Mixing these colours makes secondary colours; for example, red and blue make purple.

  • The secondary colours are orange, green and purple and know what primary colours are needed to create them.
