Lesson plan
1. Organise the children into pairs and ask them to practise counting in French from 1-10, going as fast as they can.
2. After a minute, stop the class and select a few pairs to demonstrate. Ask the whole class to join in counting 1-10 as fast as possible.
3. Ask the pairs to practise counting in French but this time backwards, from 10-1, again going as fast as they can.
4. After a minute, stop the class and select a few pairs to demonstrate before asking the whole class to join in.
5. If you have time, ask if anyone would like to have a go at counting backwards from 20-1. Challenge the whole class to have a go.
